Wood-metal sliding windows Duraslide
The Schweizer Duraslide system, a wood-metal lifting sliding window, allows large elements weighing up to 400 kg to be easily moved. Its small size and easy handling make it easy to integrate harmoniously into any construction.
Up to two simultaneous sliders can be combined on the same running rail, consult our opening diagrams. A rot-proof fiberglass threshold ensures waterproofing and cuts off cold bridges. A flat aluminum profile covers this threshold on the outside. The gaps in light are differentiated between the sash and the fixed part: for the fixed part, the glass is maximized and goes from the floor to the ceiling. The inner and outer thresholds are located 5 mm above the finished level. There is no longer any architectural barrier and your interior extends onto the terrace, with an impression of great transparency.
To achieve this effect, the external connection against the frame (terrace blade and lateral embrasure) must be removable in order to allow a subsequent change of the glass.
Specialties such as anti-break-in execution, ventilation with mosquito screen. Minergie, corner sliding, glass to glass assembly or motorized sliding are also available.
