Pollux

The Pollux window is a revolution in automotive technology. Since 2003, we have been the first in Switzerland to manufacture windows made of glued glass-wood. It is a pioneering work, with several innovations we have developed ourselves. A special glue, suitable for gluing glass to wood, has been developed by our supplier, Sika.

The completely new type of construction is based on a durable bonding of the insulating glass to the wooden leaf. Thanks to the bond obtained by this bonding, the glass assumes a static function and offers protection of the wood against the elements.

If necessary, we can change the glass.

The maximum size of a glued element is given by our gluing tables, i.e. 6000 mm in width and 3000 mm in height; but before imagining such dimensions, it is necessary to check their feasibility.

Among our many glued glass systems, we will recommend the one that is most suitable for your project.

The name "Pollux" comes from the Latin word "Lux", or light. It is also a 4000 from the Valais Alps near Zermatt. With this name, we wanted to combine cutting-edge technology with Valais know-how to create a window that provides maximum transparency and clarity.
